Sandy came to be part of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church staff in July 2023. She is semi-retired, having

had a career in Information Technology (IT), mainly as a software developer and Business Analyst, for

over 40 years.

Sandy was brought up in the Episcopal Church and was a member of, and very active in, a Christian

Church, Disciples of Christ Church in Springfield, Virginia for over 30 years. She is very excited to be at

Emmanuel Lutheran Church, to continue God’s work as Office Administrator.

Sandy grew up in Rhode Island, then moved to Virginia after college, where she met her husband, Ray.

They moved to SC in the Fall of 2022 from Northern Virginia. They now live in Leesville, in an awesome

waterfront community and are planning to get a boat to fully enjoy all that Lake Murray has to offer.

Sandy has 2 stepsons, and 3 grandsons who live in New Jersey.

When not at work or on the water, you can find Sandy involved in numerous hobbies. Sandy is a

member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary here on Lake Murray and is a Ham Radio Operator. She also

enjoys doing cross stitch needlepoint, going bowling with friends, traveling, NASCAR, and cheering on
